SITE: The McLane-Clark Memorial Pool is a six lane, 25-meter pool.  Timing will be accomplished through a fully automatic Colorado timing  system.  Touch pads at both end of the pool.  Food and glass containers are not allowed on the deck during the course of the meet.

ELIGIBILITY: A swimmer may swim 3 individual events and 2 relays consistent with G.S.S.A. bylaws.

 

ENTRY INFORMATION:

 

Electronic Entries need to be sent to rdeschaine@comcast.net.

 

ALL ENTRIES FROM EACH TEAM MUST BE ON HY-TEK EITHER AS A DISK OR VIA EMAIL. Entry must be completed and received by  5 pm,  FRIDAY, JULY 27, 2007.   Make checks payable to Granite State Swim Association. Mail OR HAND DELIVER completed entry to:

Mailed entries should be sent by Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested to insure delivery.

 

Send a hard copy of the entry to Patty Deschaine with payment.  Insure that team address and contact information are entered correctly in the file as this info will be used as your team contact for meet information.  For email entries, payment and hard copy of entry must be received by the entry deadline.

 

ENTRY FEES: $2.50 per individual event, $6.00 per relay.

 

ENTRY TIMES:  All entries must be in meter times.  NOTE:  Verify your team entries to make sure all swimmers have times.  Do not send entries with NT.

 

MEET FORMAT: The meet will be swum as pre‑seeded timed finals.  Relay cards are due 45 minutes before the relay event is swum. We reserve the right to reseed relays if there are large number of scratches.

 

WARMUPS: Warm-up schedule will be distributed to each team participating in the meet once entries have been submitted. Coaches are responsible for supervising their swimmers during warm‑up.

 

REFRESHMENTS: Claremont Tiger Sharks will operate a full food concession.

 

RULES: 2007 U.S. Swimming rules will govern all competition.

 

MISCELLANEOUS: Teams are responsible for the behavior of their swimmers at all times. Any damage to the premises or equipment is the responsibility of those doing the damage. Granite State Swim Association, Claremont Tiger Sharks and the City of Claremont assume no responsibility for lost or stolen property. No one is permitted on deck except athletes, coaches, and officials. No smoking is permitted. No animals are permitted.

 

DIRECTIONS: From East / Northeast
Take Exit 12 from I-89
Follow Rt 11/103 to Newport (24 miles)
In Newport, go down hill in town, bear right, then left around traffic island.
Follow to set of lights and take a right toward Claremont (10 miles)
Follow into Claremont and at 5th set of lights, take a right onto Winter Street.
Follow for _ mile and take right onto Veteran Park Road
McLane-Clark Memorial Pool will be on your right ñ approximately 200 feet.

From West / South
Take Exit 8 from I-91
Follow signs to Claremont (5 miles)
Continue straight through set of traffic lights (Rte. 5) and continue over bridge into New Hampshire
Follow through next set of lights (Rte 12A) and continue straight
Follow approximately 2 miles and take a left up North Street hill (Piggery Hill). Dimicks Choice Restaurant is on right, Lamberts Supply Company is on left
Take left at 3rd set of lights
Stay in left lane, and at next set of lights, take a left onto Winter Street.
Follow for about 1/2 mile and take right onto Veteran Park Road
McLane-Clark Memorial Pool will be on your right ñ approximately 200 feet.
 

PARKING:  Parking is limited at the pool and the surrounding streets. Please obey posted signs.

ENTRIES ARE DUE FRIDAY, JULY 27, 2007.  If entries are submitted via email then payment is due by Tuesday July 31, 2007.  

If sending entries on a computer disk or by email, make sure to enclose a paper copy of the entries as well.

 

Any swimmer whose entry is accepted will, for himself, his heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release any and all rights for damages he may have against Granite State Swim Association, Claremont Tiger Sharks, or the City of Claremont and any volunteer or any employee of the above, for any and all injuries or losses suffered by him at said meet.
